Almaviva's MOOVA SHM platform integrates and applies Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) methodologies and best practices to support the continuous and long-term monitoring of infrastructure assets. This process, which MOOVA SHM makes particularly intuitive and effective, leads to obtaining essential information to determine the health status of individual assets at every moment of their life and provide a broader overview of the state of the entire infrastructure network. The process includes continuous data collection, advanced time-series analysis, asset health evaluation, and clear reporting, enhanced by an engineering component, expressed through a comprehensive initial assessment of the bridge’s health, the tailored design of the monitoring system and other innovative IT services. The platform integrates internal and external data, including environmental, geological, hydrogeological, and seismic information, as well as third-party video and weighing systems, allowing correlation of sensor data with observed stresses. Its Front End serves as a single access point for monitoring, documentation, analyses, and management of alarms or malfunctions, supporting both ordinary and emergency interventions. MOOVA SHM supports interactive 2D/3D visualizations of assets and accommodates a wide range of sensors—static (crack meters, inclinometers, strain gauges) and dynamic (accelerometers). Through the Device Manager, the user can configure sensors, adjust sampling ratio, update firmware, and access collected data. Dedicated modules enable advanced signal processing, dynamic identification, modal parameter tracking, statistical pattern recognition, and anomaly detection. Alerts are automatically generated when irregularities are detected. An Advanced Analytics module allows data exploration, model development, and application of AI and machine learning techniques to monitor and analyze IoT data across the entire infrastructure, enhancing predictive maintenance and strategic asset management.
